holy holy holy

The Bible tells us that God is holy. You can see this throughout the book of Psalms. The Hebrew definition for holy is "set apart". Set apart from what? Evil, sin, and from us. God is so much greater than us. He is holy!

On Psalm Sunday the people in the Bible celebreated the coming of their king (John 12:14-15 and Zechariah 9:9). At my church we do the same. We even decorate the cross with a purple sash because the color purple is associated with royalty.
